Durga

The Durga is a massive creature created by fusing many discarded Revenant corpses into one single organism. It walks on two legs and its mid-section is taken up by a huge orange nacelle. This nacelle is larger than normal due to the sheer amount of corpses the virus is consistently fusing together and regenerating. Its upper body is made up of a nest of various body parts including limbs and heads from Revenants and Splasher pus-arms. These limbs dangle down and the sheer volume of them conceal and protect the orange nacelle beneath.

Its primary weapon is a large talon that develops into a three- clawed hand it can use to grab and drag its victims. This talon is indestructible and is comprised of well-developed Uroboros viral cysts that constantly pulse and writhe. Their strength enables the Durga to crush its target and they also act as a means of mobility to give movement to the excessive mass of body parts making up the creature. If damaged, Uroboros quickly regenerates the shattered limbs that act as a shield, but this can leave the nacelle exposed long enough for gunfire to penetrate. This will cause the Durga to go on a rampage by running and stomping its feet about. It can also scream in frustration using distorted vocals, despite having no obvious head or mouth.

Due to the multiple arms that dangle down from its upper body, this creature takes its name from the multi-armed goddess from Hindu mythology.
