Released in the United States 20 years to the day, the PS2 version of Resident Evil 4 marked a major first in the Biohazard series – the first subsequent re-release with a major canonical add-on in the form of the wonderful Separate Ways campaign.

At the time whilst such a notion greatly annoyed GameCube owners, many saw Separate Way as the extra that “saved the game” in terms of connection to the overall Resident Evil lore.
