Slinger

The Slinger is another human-based biological weapon created utilising the Uroboros Virus. Unlike the Revenant, this creature is comprised of just a single, complete human corpse and further manipulation has taken place to allow for additional mutations confined to the upper body, resulting in a bloated mass that has completely consumed the head and neck. The left shoulder is now a large sac capable of secreting a mass of flesh with protruding bone that acts as a living parasite.

The Slinger will lean back and launch the parasite which can travel up to 50 feet and explode on impact, causing damage and temporary blindness. Uroboros will then immediately regenerate the flesh inside the sac to create a new parasite and whilst this process takes place, the trademark black pustules become visible for a short time. Due to their increased mass Slingers are slow and cumbersome. Their central nacelle is located right in the centre of their upper body, meaning they are an easy target to destroy.

Slingers are at their most dangerous when their targets are distracted by other more agile foes in the immediate area.
