Umbrella Security Center

The Umbrella Security Center was a BSL-1 facility that housed vast amounts of Umbrella’s data is described as one of its core locations. It is unknown as to why it did not house Umbrella’s Red Queen security system, but it can be assumed, based on this omission that the data held within related more to the internal operations of Umbrella and less the viral weaponary aspects.

Either way, it was an important strategic location that, like other facilities, was in the Arklay Mountain range, but unlike others was not hidden. Whilst the facility was well guarded, it was easily accessible via public roads suggesting it was on one of the main highways out of Raccoon City.

The facility however was spared a similar fate to that of Raccoon City with many, if not all the staff becoming infected with the T-Virus. The building appeared to have survived the missile assault on the city and left abandonded thereafter. The information and data contained within became a target for the small band of survivors residing at the now defunct P-213 Facility.
